BENEFITS OF INSURED
WARRANTY

BMW Insured Warranty products let you hit the road with confidence, by helping to protect you from the costs of repairs and replacement parts if your vehicle experiences a mechanical or electrical failure. Depending on the level of cover you choose, covered components may include the engine, gearbox, braking and electrical systems. With our highest level of cover you’ll also be protected against wear and tear on some covered components for the vehicles first 160,000 kilometres from the date of registration.

The costs of replacement parts and labour can be expensive so having an Insured Warranty will help give you peace of mind should you ever breakdown or experience a problem with your car.

Which level of cover suits you?

You can select the policy that best suits your needs by choosing Comprehensive, Named Component or DriveLine Cover; you can also buy Roadside Assistance separately or as an optional add-on.

Option 1: Comprehensive

01
Comprehensive

This is our highest level of protection, and the policy covers the majority of your BMW’s components. In addition, it covers wear and tear on some covered components for the first 160,000 kilometres from registration. It also provides a cover limit equal to the purchase price paid for the vehicle (including VAT and VRT). Please note that Comprehensive Cover is not available for vehicles that have completed over 160,000 kilometres at the policy start date.

Option 2: Named Component

Our Named Component Warranty provides mechanical and electrical breakdown cover for a wide range of your vehicle’s components, and comes with a cover limit up to the purchase price paid for the vehicle (including VAT and VRT). Please be aware that Named Component Cover is available for vehicles that have completed no more than 160,000 kilometres at the policy start date.

Which vehicles are covered?

Our Insured Warranty products offer protection for a range of BMW vehicles, including the latest range of hybrid cars, iPerformance Vehicles and fully electric cars. These vehicles require a specialist warranty that covers the additional mechanical and electrical components found in these cars, and that’s just what BMW Insured Warranty can provide. Components such as the invertor/convertor, the AC electric motor and the internal high-voltage cables are all covered under our policies.

Please be aware that terms, conditions and exclusions apply to each of our Insured Warranty products. You’ll find a full list of these in the Policy Handbook.
